Welcome to another edition of our newsletter. Vijah Singh (remember him?) threatened to rewrite history over the weekend as he came within touching distance of becoming the oldest winner of a PGA Tour event, eventually finishing a few shots behind eventual winner Keith Mitchell at the Honda Classic.
Another talking point surrounded the new knee-height dropping procedure, which was introduced in January 2019. Rickie Fowler fell foul to the updated ruling as he dropped from shoulder height a few weeks back and suffered a one-shot penalty as a result, and now some other players (McIlroy, Spieth and DeChambeau) have had their say. Is this shaping up for a U-turn from the USGA and R&A? Time will tell. Enjoy the read. |
